Ezili Dantor, who is considered the Queen of Petwo. In Haitian Vodou, Ezili Dantor is one of the Lwa (spirits) and is associated with various aspects and characteristics.
Ezili Dantor is believed to possess intense powers and is associated with protection, revenge, justice, and matters related to money and work. She is particularly revered by single mothers, victims and survivors of domestic violence, and individuals in marginalized communities. She is said to have a special affinity towards gay men and women, bisexual people, well-behaved children, and transgender individuals.
In terms of symbolism, Ezili Dantor is associated with the colors red and royal blue, although she may also accept yellow and green in certain regions due to her association with her husbands Simbi Makaya (who is associated with the color green) and Ti Jean (who is associated with the color yellow).
It's important to note that the beliefs and practices of Vodou can vary among different individuals and communities.
Stay tuned for the announcement of our group ritual with Ezili Dantor herself.
